Group Work

Creative Time

Through games and activities we aim to help young people grow in confidence and build strong friendships with their peers.
Summer Schemes
We know the highlight of our summer is our action packed summer schemes - all about meeting new friends, having new experiences and having the best summer possible. Lagmore Youth Project offer a dynamic and engaging programme to engage all during the summer months

Good Relations
Lagmore Youth Project offers a range of opportunities to explore good relations, cultural identity and exploring self-identity through a range of Education Authority, TBUC and PEACE IV funded programmes.
LGBTQ+ Allies Support
Lagmore Youth Project team recognise the importance of working with young people from our LGBTQ+ Community and Allies from across Colin area. We offer a specific programme for those that identify as LGBTQ+ or as an ally of the community and welcome young people from across the community to this programme. Residential opportunities
What is youth work without the opportunities to take part in local and international residential opportunities. When you join LYP we very regularly provide residential opportunities for our members.
Seniors.
Training and Qualifications
At our seniors programme we want to create the next generation of young leaders for our community. We do this by providing our seniors with training opportunities and opportunities to do qualifications.
Volunteering
A big part of our seniors programme is volunteering with Lagmore Youth Project. Whether that's at our junior sessions or at our community events, we want to give our seniors responsibility to take lead in their own community.

Lagmore Youth Project staff are highly notable on the ground in Lagmore reaching out to young people that often dont engage in exisiting services our teams can offer advice and support on the streets.

International opportunities are such unique experiences which provides a positive challenge to our senior members for their leadership, learning and personal and social development.

Football.
Teamwork
Each week we have a diversionary Friday Night Football for any young people in junior and secondary age. This provides an opportunity to come together to play a game of team football and have access to a youth worker for any support.
Teambuilding
At our Friday night football we provide team building and bonding on the pitch allowing a social space to become one which is effectively making positive relationships.
Outreach.
Support and Advice
Each week we engage with young people on the streets providing them with support and advice on various issues including opportunities, diversionary support and guidance.
